The desk
PropCases is produced by the Hash Hedge research desk. We do not invent authors and we do not put stock faces behind made-up names: if a piece carries a byline, a real person wrote it.
Where the data comes from
The publication is built on the Hash Hedge competitor database: 38 program records, 31 full dossiers, 739 sources. Every fact carries a link to its primary source, a check date and an evidence level from A to D. Only levels A and B reach public material.
What we publish
- Affiliate program terms taken from the firms’ own pages, with a check date
- Discrepancies between the landing page and the agreement, quoting both documents
- An index with published methodology and a per-criterion score breakdown
- Verified partner reviews, after we have contacted the author
What we refuse to do
- We do not write reviews ourselves and do not publish unverified ones
- We do not use fictional authors or invented biographies
- We do not sell placement in the index
- We do not publish claims about named companies below evidence level B
Right of reply
Before publishing about a specific firm we request its comment and leave room for the company position in the text. If data is out of date, write to us with the primary source: the correction is published with a date, and the previous version is marked as corrected rather than deleted.
